I also got a call at 10:58 am on Fri 4/7/17. A male said; " I am calling from a recorded voice", and then asked; "can you hear me ok?", then proceeded to tell me that they received my request for social security disability benefits. I requested no such thing, and had to try to break in and tell this voice machine so. It finally recognized what I wanted to say, and said; " ok ", and then hung up. It's obviously a scam.
She said, "Hi this is Brooke and I'm calling from a recorded line, can you hear me ok? Press 1 to be removed"
Never ever say yes when they ask if you can hear them. They record it and use it as your confirmation to approve anything they want. Just hang up immediately and block. She's called me fromabout 10 different numbers already.
