one ring and no one there

Rang cell a couple of rings then stopped, 5:30 PM PST 3/17/17.  I didn't answer.  No one has my cell # (it's for emergencies only).

called cell, rang twice. left no message

Called cell (which I rarely give out), rang briefly and stopped, no message left.  If the number is calling lots of other people it's probably a scam.

1 ring then disconnected...I didn't answer.  Called twice in rapid succession.
