received a call at 6:43 am, automated for stated something in regards to a kick starter number.

A Text Message. Some kind of scam supposedly giving me my "Kickstarter phone verification code".  I have not participated in Kickstarter, therefore I smell a scam. and will ignore.

It's real and legit. Someone must have entered the wrong phone number, probably by mistake.

So you came here to reply to a 9 month old post to claim that this fake spam text is real and legit?  If it is real and legit then you should be able to tell us exactly why and who sent it.
