Well, I'm probably not totally in my right mind, but I figure to stop this crap we're going to have to push back. With these insurance rate folks, I like to give them completely bogus info (year/make/model) on cars I've never owned. Also fake info on my house, if they ask. Now, they will pass this info on to actual insurance brokers in the U.S. who are using the calling services to get sales leads while skirting the National Do-Not-Call Registry. When these brokers call, I'll string them along as long as possible, giving more bogus info. Eventually I'll let them know that they have been PUNKED, that there are a lot of us who don't appreciate their use of overseas, illegally-operating sales aggregators, and that they should soon expect to have a good chunk of their day wasted with worthless sales leads... .
I called this number back. someone answered (hello) I told them to quit calling me an to never call this number again. no response. I guess they hung up.
Have received 8 calls from this number, finally answered today. I could hardly understand the woman. I did not give her a chance to explain what she was wanting before I blew my whistle in her ear. I hate these calls.
