Now that you've practiced your no-call request here, deliver it to the actual caller, which does not maintain this site or this web page. How you handle this depends on the type of caller and what's been said, which for the readers would have been very useful information to share. That is the function of a mystery caller site.
Several phone calls a day come from Brian Steppings @917-398-9348. It is very annoying! Please stop calling! I am not interested in your marketing program and do not plan to contribute to it.
This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls, but reporting them here does not stop the calling. YOU have to take action to do that!
Want to stop repeated telescam phone calls?
Try these alternatives:
1. Do not answer the phone if you see an unknown number on your Caller ID ... let it go to answering machine or voicemail. Many telescammers hang up after 3 rings.
2. If you have a smartphone, get one of the inexpensive or free phone blocker apps at your online app store, and learn how to use it.
3. If your cel is not "smart", read the manual to learn how to set up a "group". Assign the scammer's phone number to that group. Also assign a "silent ring" to that group. You will not hear future calls from that number.
4. Google NoMoRobo, and visit their site, to see if your phone system is compatible with that system. (It may or may not be compatible).
5. If you have a landline, and buy things online, you might want to google "Amazon phone blocker" to see what devices or apps Amazon has to offer. Similar devices are for sale on eBay and other online stores.
