They continuously call our business asking way too many questions for a free magazine renewal - shouldn't all that info be in the system already? Annoying!!!!
Caller refused to identify self or company information. My company prohibits me to transfer calls without this information. This dance goes on multiple times per day, 365 plus days out of the year. There has got to be a way where businesses can reduce interruption from nuisance calls. This interferers with normal business operations. We're trying to earn money, not spend time with off shore call centers phishing for information.
Get with your manager and IT people and see if they will allow for and set up a dump extension.
An extension that is not monitored or has a live person on the other end, just dead air or "get nowhere" prompts.
So when you get a nuisance call, just press (dump ext here), and take the next legit caller.
