Got a call from this # 917-417-1111 said they were the Federal Gov't and I was getting $9000.00 cthan said call# 646-389-5884, and gave me a code # to use ????
Got a call earlier today from an Asian man saying that I'm entitled to a federal 9000 grant and that I should call 646-389-5884 to get more info. Why can't these people be caught and thrown in jail?
He is impersonating the US federal gov't...that should be worth 10 years of splitting rocks by hand.
Callers are located in India and Pakistan. As such they are beyond the reach of US law. Invest in a call blocker and DO NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
