I just got a call from the number. I knew it was a scam but I called back to see what information they had on me.
The Indian woman who gave her name and the IRS badge number IRN1065 asked me for my name
Me: I can give you my phone number if you need to figure out who I am
IRN1065: Are you *first name and maiden last name* (I go by my married last name since 2012)
Me: Yes
IRN1065: What is your zip code?
Me: What zip code do you have on file?
IRN1065: 11208
Me: Nope (I lived near that zip code for 9 months in 2010)
IRN1065: What is your current zip code?
Me: What zip code do you have on file from my most recent tax returns?
I forgot what she said after that and it's not important.
Me: How about I call the 800 number from the IRS site to reach you, that way that way I can make sure I am not giving my personal information to a stranger.
IRN1065: Ok very good, We will talk to you soon.
Me: Ok thank you have a nice day. Hangs up phone and fills out the appropriate form to report them which can be found

Please use the proper channels to report these people. there is no reason why they should still be using the SAME phone number in August that they were using in March to pull the same scam. We may know better but unfortunately there will always be those who don't know and who will fall victim to these scammers. Please take time to report them.
This people are really sick. They kept changed phone number on you when they are caught. I received so many IRS Scam calls and threaten them to report to the FBI. Then they will call again with different phone number. The following number is also scammer (917) 460-0966. A man with a strong Indian accent. Since I couldn't understand him, he transfer me to his partner. This man with some Indian accent but I be able to make some sense of it. I could hear from the background; they are an operation to scam people. He threaten me with that IRS is sending me to court and they are the partner with IRS investigation and they are here to help me.... to make the story short; THEY ARE SCAMMERs!!!! Report to the FBIs...
