Same issue. Called 5 times during the last few days. Heavy accent saying you will be arrested because you owe money and if you don't call back wishing you Good luck.
I blocked the number. The transcribed Message reads as follow:
"There is a lawsuit which is going to file in federal claim court house within couple of hours and the local County Sheriff are going to arrest you for five criminal allegations. So before this matter goes to the court house and you get arrested. Kindly get back to us at 917-475-0284. I repeat 917-475-0284. Now if you don't return the call then the only thing that I can do is wish you good luck."
I have had the same issue but I turned the tables on them; for the last hour I have been calling them from my land line and my cell and asking "Hey Scammer, How's business?" and things like that. I told them I was having my calls traced and they could expect a visit from the police very soon. They got furious with me and called me some very nasty names that I just laughed at. Then they said if I would just quit calling they would remove my number from their call list. HA! Did I quit calling....NO! They said their IT peeps were going to cut my phones off! Could they....NO! I am tired of these scam calls and intend to harass the crap out of these people! I encourage everyone who gets a call from these people to do the same thing I have done. Harass them! There is nothing they can do except not answer or hang up. They are scammers and pick on people who don't know better.
