I just happened to be looking through my VoIP call log and spotted this number as an OUTgoing call made from my line. I did not dial nor do I know this number. I also use Cablevision (Optimum) for VoIP, but I'm in NJ. Seems to be related to that company somehow.
Since April i my call history from my cable company lists 9 outbound calls from my home number TO this number. Switchboard.com shows the number to be be a Cablevision Lightpath VoIP in New York, NY. I am guessing that it is engaged in a very sophisticated robotic spoofing operation. (I am wondering it is able, God forbid!, not just to spoof calls, to piggy back on my phone to extend its reach.)
I, too would like to hear of others' experiences with this number - and with other spoofing episodes.

I'm wondering the same thing about piggybacking calls. Yesterday the phone rang and the caller id said my husband's full name (not what its listed as in the phone book)and the phone number was the same phone number the call was coming in on. When I checked the calls on my Optimum log, it was listed as an OUTGOING call to our Optimum voice mail. Another call to the univeral Optumum voice mail number says it was made 1 minute later. I was the only one home and didn't make either one of these calls.
We don't use the optimum voice mail thankfully, but very disturbing all the same. I made sure that it was totally disabled.
