You are on the DNC list & you get a call at 2AM. WHAT does this tell you about your caller? It's not a multitude of Martians who all got A's in arithmetic, it's criminals! Please look into call blocking.
Have gotten several phone calls and texts about Chess with no explanation about what they are calling for, just an activation code. I want this to stop now.
Received a text with an activation code followed by a phone call confirming the code and thanking me for using their services. I called back the same number, and received a recorded message that sounded like jiberish and was immediately disconnected. Text number and phone call come from 2 different numbers. Odd.

Received two calls in a row from this number, based in New York they say. They left an activation code. I am not calling or activating anything! Nor did I order anything. Instead I looked it up here.
