Can't imagine my excitement when I got my own "Arrest Warrant" e-mailed to me, so of course I just had to dissect the whole thing. The so called Official Seal on my letterhead is invalid since it doesn't have the jurisdiction printed inside or outside of the circle. Of the dozens and dozens of designs used in the country, this exact design is used in Idaho and Eastern Tennessee, not even close to what they use in New York. The form # used is not the correct one for "Arrest Warrant", the "Act" numbers and descriptions don't make any sense, and to top it all off the case # is Florida. I have been able to view screen shots of other scam Arrest Warrants and they all have exact same case #. This is like a gang that can't shoot straight! Checked official register of all grades of Judges that work the NY District Courts and can't match the name shown for presently serving, retired, or deceased. From other reports, I see that the mastermind here, Eric Marshall, over the past few years has passed himself off as a State's Attorney or even the top dog AG from California, Texas, Pennsylvania, and now New York. This guy really gets around! Anyway, I've never even received any "Pay Day Loan", and of course I'm reporting this to all applicable authorities. I might even send it to the two jurisdictions that "own" the real seal design.
I received this excatly email. So I played along with it. They told me that they except money grams and iTunes gift cards ($50) .. the Grammer was horrible and I told.them my attorney would get a hold of them. Never heard back.
