Got a robo call saying they had a matter they wished to discuss before they sent it to the county courthouse. Called number and it was not a working number. No company name given. Most likely a scam. They've called twice. I've blocked it.

Got called 3 times in 1 hour with a robo voice message claiming to be the IRS informing me they were filing a lawsuit against me and wanted to discuss the matter before turning it over to the county police. Called back and got the pleasure of speaking to a typical foreign telemarketer with the same story. I literally laughed at him and informed him that 1) the IRS only handles tax matters by mail and would never call me and 2) since when does the all powerful IRS need the local police to do their bidding? Needless to say he had no response and hung up on me. Definitely a scam...and not a very believable one.
Got called 2 times in 1 hour with a robo voice message claiming to be the IRS informing me they were filing a lawsuit against me and wanted to discuss the matter before turning it over to the county police. Called back and got caught for 20-30min. Told me I owe federal tax, all my assets were frozen, had to go to local IRS office in person to pay it, didn't realize it was a spam until I was instructed to pay the tax right away in a Safeway store with my cell phone on on the way there. It did scare me.
