Who called from 9177328422

Scammer finds items on craigslist and offers to pay you via paypal.  Then they ask you to pay their shipper.  But they never actually paid you on paypal.  Instead, a fake email comes from [email protected] that looks somewhat like a real email from paypal.  Phishing scam.

3 minutes after posting used  furniture on craigslist for 500, i received a text from this number eager to purchase stating they are out of town and will pay via paypal, just provide our paypal account and they will transfer the money and also transfer the amount to pay the shipper as they are unable to pay the shipper directly.   when asked how much the shipper is charging and where it would ship to the response was 450 to ship and please give me your paypal account or set one up so that they could proceed.   sorry but 950 for a used piece of furniture based on photo only definitely sounds too good to be true.   quickly researched online and found this forum with the same number.    we quickly responded that we were only interested in local cash deals.

And you have  bridge in Brooklyn for sale!  Why does anyone even attempt to use craigslist any more?

Posted used furniture on Craigslist. wanted my paypal and said they would put in extra money to pay the shipper.  This is exactly like the above issues.  Scam scam scam.
