Thank you for your post. I just received a call from them today. I was lied to at the gym I signed up for. I was told there is no contract for a personnel trainer, all you have to.do is write a letter. I called the gym to cancel and was passed to several different people. I finally got through to EFT financial and was spoken to like a piece of garbage. I then changed my debt card number. I will call them back and ask the name of their law office. I will them call the Better Business Bureau. Again thanks.
this is a collection person posing as a lawyer from "Swiss financial LLC." i have looked up the company online to get more info on or from them and have found nothing. they are trying to sue me for a breach of contract from custom built personal training. they claim this but when i told them i have a lawyer they refused to send me the contract that i signed with them so i knew what i was being sued for. the person who is calling from that number is supposedly is a lawyer. i highly doubt that. he didn't sound or talk like one and kept repeating himself about things i he had already told me from previous calls the same day. he also told me that i had until 2 pm to call back and make my decision on whether or not i was going to pay or the debt or go to court. i have only received phone messages from this person once and i have legal rights which he was in violation of . when i left a message for him he returned it at 1:50 pm and left a message saying that he would be in his office untill 8 pm. so basically he changed his story on when my "dead line" was.

This is a debt collection agency. I tried to cancel my gym membership only to find out there is no cancellation and no buy out fee. This collection angency is very rude and annoying. The "receptionist" will yell at you and demand you make an IMMEDIATE payment. They will threaten you with court. It is best to just ignore them and hope it gets passed to someone less toxic.
So I have had this personal trainer at Gold's Gym and money was getting tight.. I only owed them around 1,000 or so left since the original investment was a more than 2,000 almost 3. I have a job but don't work my actual full time hours because I'm full time in college and I have been trying to give school most of my time. My card got declined for one of my payments and I didn't exactly receive a letter. I'm sure if they actually contacted me since I was busy with school work. The company sent it to Swift Funds and that's when they started to call me. A man by the name of "Valentino" called me and urged me to make a payment. He had set up a settlement plan with me and that was that. I then made a payment the day after the next and then I called so I could make sure I knew how much I owed which was around 3,400. A man by the name of "John Banks" answered and said "Valentino" was not in at the moment. He then said he had asked "Valentino" to lower my balance and started to say "Valentino" only wants to make commission off of me and doesn't care about anyone etc. "John Banks" Said he would lower it down to 2,000 and get rid of the loop holes, interest, late fees, remove the red flag and get a "release" and documents to me so that my contract wouldn't be sold off to mom and pop shops. He said he was concerned due to my age (19) and that he was sick of seeing how corrupt the debt collection industry was and always tries to help anyone he can. He then realized that I had made a recent payment with "Valentino " and said he couldn't do anything since it was already in "Valentino's" hands and that the only way for him to help me is if I would make no more payments with "Valentino" so that the account would go into an inactive state which he would then be able to take control. He asked me to get in contact with him after 35 days which by then the account would be inactive. I kind of thought this was weird, sketchy or something. .. I wasn't sure. I felt like maybe they are working together to scam me or something. Anybody know about this?
This is from a Golds Gym account. I tried to back out of the contract the day after I signed it. OH, low and behold there was NEVER anyone that could help me. I went back to the gym 3 times for two days in a row, I finally got a number to call and again, NO ONE LIVE would answer. But now that I canceled my credit card they can call and call and call. Well, keep calling because I tried with due diligence to get this taken care of.
