Person with foreign accent threatening me if I fail to call him back it will be a federal criminal offense. Right...... I have turned the number over to the police and they are investigating it and turning the info over to the police in New York.
Received my first call from this particular number today. The call was a recorded message that was incompletely captured by my voice mail and appears to be some sort of threatening debt collection call with failure to respond resulting in being forced to appear before a judge or magistrate. We began receiving similar calls last fall from different phone numbers, however, the voice of the male caller always appears to be the same. The first time, the caller identified himself as "Steve Martin" although he sounded middle eastern. Today's caller had a similar voice, but I thought I detected a slight British accent this time.
yes that number was the same 917 775 0019 I made it complete to the IRS I told that I was a public utility office here which I am I work for government agency and I told them that what can I help him with and he told me that I was I I was late or something on some payments I told him well who are you with you want I want to talk to Dennis gray and he said Dennis Gray died 5 minutes ago I told him he was full of crap and you're a scam artist and go to hell hung up on him tell him to F off and don't bother me haven't heard from him since
I got a call from a Dennis Gray, supposed to be from the US Treasury (917-775-0019), he never stated my name, he indicated that there is a legal case against "you". Once more, this is a scam and we need to be careful not giving into their tricks trying to get info or money from you.
