This number called me claiming to be the IRS but it made me call them back and when I asked for more info they said they couldn't give me any info because it was just filed today. Asked for my lawyer's info. I said I didn't have it on me and asked for the information to be emailed to me. They asked if I had a lawyer. I asked for the information. They said I had to wait one hour, that the documents would be sent to my address. I asked if they had my address. They repeated themselves.
I received 2 calls from this number saying that they were from the IRS and that I owed 20,000 dollars that was due today or they would have a police officer at my door to arrest me and take my house and car, But if I would like to settle this at this time it would only cost 1900 dollars. and if I choose to fight it I could get a Lawyer but couldn't win and it would cost me 20,000 plus lawyer fees and court cost that cost could be more then 30,000. I told them that I would call then back, I waited about 2 hours and called them. I told them that I talked to my lawyer and called the IRS and was told to call the FBI and report the number. They hung up right a way I guess they didn't want to hear the rest of the story.
