Same message regarding legal affairs.  To hire an attorney

Got a call telling me they were from the US treasury Dept. saying i owed $3900.
From misfiled taxes. Told me the local police were on their way to my house to arrest me, with a warrant, for ignoring the notices sent by IRS to collect this debt.
Said i had to go to a local store, buy a gift and make payment to them to cancel the warrant. Thick Indian accent also. SCAM

I received call from Justin rides from the treasury dept n need to get legal representation regard moneys odo to the IRS said I was very rude n thius is real n tat they can come to my place of work n arrest me (first I don't owe taxes I'm disabled second I don't have a job I'm disabled scam [***]

The IRS does not initiate communications
with a "cold call" to unsuspecting people.
Instead
The IRS first sends a letter, always!

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Yes I got the same call from Lisa Jones with that same accent I did not call back I figured it was a scam that's why I googled the number thanks for posting this
