Got a call from 917-932-0884 - and left a robotic voicemail on my cell "strongly suggesting" I call the toll-free number 888-320-8649 because of suspicious activity on my computer or tablet. I called the 917 number back and it was a woman with an Indian accent who said, "How can I help you?" I said, "I'm just wondering who called me from this number." She said, "This is Apple support. Do you have any Apple devices?" I said, "No" - which is true, I don't have anything from Apple. She said, "Then the call must have been a mistake." and that was it. Since when does Apple support have 917 cell numbers? I didn't try to call the 888 number.

I received the following voice mail from (917) 932-0884:
"...with your iCloud ID. We've been getting a notification on our main server for the past few days. We seriously recommend you to call us at 18883208649. I repeat 18883208649. We request you do turn on your computer or Apple Mac devices before speaking to our certified technicians. For help and support, press 1; to hang up, press 2"
I did not call back and deleted the voice mail.
