I just went on went in My Heritage, in a few minutes I received a call from a number I didn't recognize, so I didn't answer. In a few minutes they called back this time I answer it. I could hardly understand what the lady was saying, but she was asking me about my research I had done on my family. I didn't appreciate them calling. And I didn't appreciate asking about my research.
I have a freer account with My Heritage (an ancestry.com competitor) and I am guessing they were calling to try to get me to upgrade to a paid account.
I'm on My Heritage too. Was wondering why they asked for my phone number when I signed up for a free account. Looks like it's going on my blocked list.
Ok, that was pretty creepy. I haven't signed into My Heritage for a long time because I don't have a subscription. I signed in today just for fun, and I got a phone call from them about 10 minutes later. Actually, that's very creepy.
I tried to log in to My Heritage and it asked for my phone number for identity confirmation. Ten minutes later they were calling me. I didn't pick up so I don't know why they were calling.
