Actually after I give it a bit more thought, the fact that you are objecting to my posting of this information including the owner's information from the state, other complaints that establish a pattern, and the fact that I posted links to government agencies to file complaints at, makes me think that you are the one who works for this company, possibly even the owner himself, a low life scumbag thief that steals money from people. Yep, that is what you are scum of the earth stealing from the elderly.
Lady called - said she was with "Dream of a Lifetime" sweepstakes; that every major credit card user would be entered into this sweepstakes, sponsored by Empire Readers. Initially, she told me that I could find more information at www.dreamofalifetime.com, but - when that didn't work - she said that they must just be working on the site, but that I could find more information at www.empirereaders.com. Although www.empirereaders.com had a bunch of magazines listed on the site, there was NO information about any contest. During this process, however, I noted that everything on google that came up talked about it being a scam. Once I mentioned that to the caller, she laughed, saying that google just had the wrong information. She tried closing me immediately, saying that she needed to verify my information, but I short-cutted the process, told her just to enter me into the sweepstakes with whatever information they already had and she hung up on me.
I have had the same issues with this number. I reported it to BB&T Online Security because I thought it was phish-y. Little pun lol. Anyway, the calls stopped and BB&T thanked me for reporting it. However, today, about 3 months later, I received another call from this number. It's really annoying because they are calling my cell. Anyway, avoid the scam. You're not gonna win a big prize.
