Got several calls from this number over the past few days. Finally picked up on one, waiting to lace into the person to tell them to stop calling my number and I'm greeted with someone asking for my mother by her first name. I'm over 30, grown and out of the house, so I tell them there's no one here by that name (as there really isn't), and I get the "Oh well maybe you can help me!" script that was the same one I got a couple months ago from another number claiming to be a charity for breast cancer. This time it's a charity for kids with leukemia, supposedly. Because legit medical charities always start their scripts with mistaken identity, I guess. Said I wasn't interested and was pushed further by being told that I could donate a low price every month, just like the supposed breast cancer one said not too long ago. I plainly said no and then was hung up on. No closing script, just a dead line. My guess is these jerks are either looking to get bank account or credit card info, or they're one of those "yes" scammers that want a recording of you saying "yes" so they can charge you for nothing. You get a call from this number, don't answer it. If you can, block the number.
