A woman asked to speak with Marketing about this company's evaluation of Reynolds & Reynolds's services. (I know of one department that uses them, and it's not Marketing.) She wasn't clear as to whether they'd already submitted a questionnaire and in what format (email vs. US mail) or were going to do so. When I couldn't understand the woman's explanation, she said, "I'm going to find another way" and hung up. Sorry, lady; I recommend that you find another way to express yourself next time.
A woman from Reynolds & Reynolds (verified number) wanted to speak with a particular employee regarding software that the company uses. When I explained that he wasn't in IT, she requested either the the systems administrator / controller or the office manager. I advised that my directory listings are by last name, not title; and this being corporate HQ, there is no office manager. She hmmm'd a lot and decided to retrace her steps. Vendors should regularly update their contact data -- unless, or course, they're not really approved.
Reynolds and Reynolds is a software company for auto dealers. They do not make solicitation calls. If you were a person that received a call, I am sure it was in error.
