Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 937-668-8011 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.
I received a call tonight from 937-668-8011. He said he was from Burnette Research and wanted to speak to a male who was 25 yrs or older. I said there wasn't any and hung up. I am married but my husband doesn't answer calls like this.
I got my first call from this company and it had better be the last! These kind of phone calls are getting to be a nuisance. I have better things to do with my personal and precious time than to run to the telephone all day long. I have gotten as many as 17 of these kind of calls in one day. I PAY for my telephone service for MY benefit, not THEIRS!
They are a survey research firm and as such do not have to comply with the national do not call list (at least that's what their website said).
That being said, if you go to bernett.com you can request for your number to be removed from their call list.
caller ID:BERNETT RSCH nobody on line when I answered, like one of those multidialers that are supposed to be disallowed for telemarketing (I don't know if that applies to surveys). As previous person said, they have a link to remove phone numbers at bernett.com . We'll see if they actually honor it.
