Another random call from another probably spoofed number. This is getting ridiculous. My cell phone will run out of battery before these spammers get done! I don't answer and they never leave a message.
Says, "Hi! This is Kate. Google Plus..." That as a far as I listened before hanging up.
The caller ID shows, "Cust Srvc." I would not have picked up, but oddly enough I had just called a legitimate business with an order problem and was expecting a call back from their customer service department. Grrrr!
I don't have any social media accounts, so there is no reason for anybody to be calling me about Google Plus. Doubtless this is a scheme to try to trick people into divulging their login credentials for fraudulent purposes.
937-815-1090 may show up as Cust Srv and may appear to come from Dayton, Beavercreek, Ohio.
Actually this number is originating from OJSC Megafon Volga branch in the Russian Federation, who also operate cell service in their network to Iran and North Korea. This is based on the hidden International Country Code that is passed along with the phone number that you may not ever see without using advanced phone tools. In this case the International Country Code is 7.
My guess with the Google Plus scheme is that want to create real Google Plus pages with the motive of getting ahold of your Master Google password which will give them access to your entire Google account include Android based phone, Google built in Gmail and Hangout Google Voice text and voice services, etc.
