We were at Golden Temple in Coorg on 27 Dec 2013. A Lady claimed that she is some Geeta Dixit from Mumbai Dadar. She was speaking fluent Marathi and may be she heard us speaking in Marathi. She told that she was with some Kesari Travels and her husband and fat son decided to move to coorg and rest all went to Tirupati. The wallet of her husband and his uncle has been exchanged. The new wallet has only 175 Rs. and her husband has gone to some cooperative bank branch to withdraw some money but unfortunately the manager is also not there. She needs some money so that she and her family can spend at least one night at that place. She has already paid 35000 in kesari travels. She will definitely return the amount once she reached Dadar. She asks us to give a missed call on her number 9410871143. Her fat son weighing 100 Kg also gives a pitiful look. We decide to give her 5000 K at Golden temple 12.25 PM 27 Dec 2013..When we reached home we did some googling on the phone number and came across this page. We realised that we are screwed ...
We were also duped by the same lady who called herself, Mrs. Geeta Dixit from Dadar, Mumbai who gave her address as Ashirwad society, Swaroopa Beauty Parlor, Shivaji Park. She took Rs. 5,000/- from us on 26th December 2013 at around 1.00 pm at Nisargadham near Kushalnagar. I told her that I would buy her 3 bus tickets for Mumbai, but she hesitated and preferred to have it in cash. The same story was told to us as described by you above.
