I also received a call from 941-209-1239. I didn't recognize the number so I called it back and the person just answered, "hello." I said, "I just got a call from this number, who are you?" He said "If you would like more information for the sheriff's drive I can give that to you." He began getting rude when I asked who he was, so I just hung up. Ever since then this number has been calling over here at least every other day. For this reason and many more calls like this I have turned off the ringer on the phone. If it's all that important they can leave a caller id number or a message. Otherwise I know it's nothing more than a scam and it's getting annoying. What good is the donotcall list if it don't stop these calls?
yeah these idiots called and I made them hang on and kept saying can you say that again,and he just hung up, never rec'd any calls again from them. I know who has the time but it was just what the moron needed and I fug with these types on purpose, I can turn the phone off at any time and flip the switch to turn it back on and only those who know my cell ,which are my business associates family and friends can get a hold of me if its on lock down. i never get any solicitation on my cell,only my land line and most today dont have one but we do.
