Just received ANOTHER call from this #. Guy said it was for disabled veterans of america (or something similar to that) trying to raise money for them. Sounded like he was calling from home(?), heard distinct sound of a power tool (circular saw) in the back round. Not too pleasant when informed him I am on the "Do Not Call" List.
Just received ANOTHER call from this #. Guy said it was for disabled veterans of america (or something similar to that) trying to raise money for them. He called me and kept saying my name over and over. He called a few months ago soliciting donations for that charity. I told him I would donate but only through the mail. I looked up the charity, and there were a lot of negative reviews. I also checked it out on charity navigator and a very small percentage of the donations go to the actual veterans based on the charity's tax records. I have chosen not to donate now that I did research on the charity.
