Answered call just to see what it was about. When I answered, there was no one on other end. Then I heard a click. Phone disconnected, but not by me. Weird name showed up on caller I.D. They are blocked.
Just because I'm nosy and a little bored at the moment, I called them back. The number went to American Ins. Co. I asked them why they called my house and hung up. A man named "Rico" said, "Oh I'm sorry they did that. I apologize. But it wasn't me". I then asked why they were calling me. He asked me if I was under or over 65. I told him that wasn't any of his business. Then I told him I was online and I was reading all over the place that American Insurance were a bunch of scammers. He hung up on me, of course. I already blocked him so I don't care if they try me again or not.
Caller from this number left message on answering machine advising me they were calling from AIG and they have been trying to reach me for weeks. (They've never called before) Person who left message was not nice to listen to and said I HAD to call her back NOW.
I have no business with AIG.
