Received a call from this # claiming to be the IRS. Had me write down Agent Sam Anderson, badge# 7495. Asked for my attorney's information as I am being sued by the IRS. I asked him what he was talking about. Before he could tell me anything, he wanted the last 4 of my SSN to verify he was speaking to the right person. I told him he called me, that I would be happy to verify other information of mine, but not my SSN as I didn't know who I was speaking with. We went back & forth. After I repeatedly refused to give the last 4 of my SSN, he hung up on me. Had an Indian accent with the name Sam Anderson. Yeah, right! Definitely a SCAM.
