This is "Santa's Personal Hotline", a long distance number which YOU can call to hear a message from Santa and to leave your "Christmas gift wishes and holiday cheer", if you like, for just the cost of a long distance call inside the US (... so it's free if you are on an unlimited plan). This voicemail line has been provided each December (through the 25th) since 2009 by the telecommunications company FreeConferenceCall.com, based in Long Beach, California. They also say: "Any proceeds generated from Santa’s Hotline will be donated to Children Today (ChildrenToday.org) a non-profit organization that provides quality early childcare and education programs to homeless families absolutely free of charge."
