called me saying were taking me to court for a bank account that I was suppose to have made an unsecure loan with from Chase Bank, they had all of my personal information, scammer. Couldn't understand a word they said, or understand them the names they use are adam Spencer, Dexter Cruz and John, so be on the look out for these people.
I received a call from 951-277-6207. It was an Indian man who said that if i didnt call them back they would persue legal matters tomorrow.
I asked for a case/reference number and all he said was that he had my cell phonenumber and read that off.
I am not calling him back and hope that this just goes away.
Someone from this number called me and left a MESSAGE on my answering machine that they were taking me to court and that they needed to hear from my attorneys, etc. Seems to me this is against the FDCPA? Not sure what the call is for - but I am certain that these tactics are illegal and I am not aware of any debt I owe.
I just received one of these threating phone calls left on my voicemail at work and on my cell phone as well. The guy said his name was John Smith and he works for John Beth Attorny's, I could clearly tell that he was from India, he said that I need me to call him back immediatly. His final words left on the voicemail, that if I don't call him back may God help me. I work for 6 attornys and I will be having one of the attornys call them back.
I just received the same voice mail, although I could not really understand because of the thick accent, but it definitely told me or my attorney to call him back or they will pursue a lawsuit and good luck.
