These people are very rude! You tell the lady no thank you, and she calls you back over and over; to the point of harassment. Had to block their number.
Caller asks for business owner as obtained from public record. When asked, caller says they are "Merchant Services". Caller will claim it is a "business banking matter". Caller quickly becomes agitated when you simply demand their company address. Do not offer any information of yours. Only demand the callers address a few times and they will hang up for you. Unfortunately, they will call back the next day.
Like others are saying, they got the company owner's name from public record. They said it's a banking matter and need to talk to the owner. She said it must be the owner due to FCC regulations. I ask "What is this about?" and "How can I help you?".... nope wants the owner only.... Very scammy sounding.

I was just called my Melinda of "Merchant Services". I immediately asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list, and Melinda said that they don't have one. I said, "You should". I asked for their business name, and she said "Merchant Services", then I asked for the phone number of their corporate offices, and she hung up on me.
