same scenario as everyone else. i was told i owed over $2000 for not reporting earned income sometime between 2010-2015. they said they made several attempts via mail and that all my accounts would be freezed and garnished to get the money owed. they provided no information detailng where i had failed and when i showed resistance they just told me i would be getting sevred papers by an officer within 45 minutes and that i needed to hang up the call so that they could process everything. i briefly freaked out about this, since i was rudely awoken by their phone call at 5:30am and half asleep while having this information thrown at me, but i quickly realized it just didnt make sense and decided to google the number. im so glad i did because now i can relax again and know that this was all just a scam. people like this should be punished!!!! get a real job you jerks!!!
