I've received several calls from them tell me that they are the IRS and that they have a law suit against me cause I got money from them that i wasn't suppose to get, and that they flied a lawsuit against me, but I can pay them a lump sum of $1200 to clear it up now, but I'm disabled and havent flied taxes in over 10 yrs, but when I told them to call my lawyer they hung up on me
Well a third call. ABC 7 news in Chicago did an article about this, and pointed a finger at one guy in particular who has been in / is in trouble with the FCC over these scams but nothing has happened to him, and he claims that he has not heard anything about it, even though ABC showed copies of the legal correspondence the FCC sent him.. The guys name is "Oakley Miller" out of Tampa. He is associated with 2 scam telemarketing companies, "Travel Club Marketing" and "Golden Ticket Getaway" and supposedly he is involved with several others
I dialed *60 (to block my number from their system) and dialed them back. My call was answered by a male, robo voice that said all of the operators were currently serving other customers. "If you're returning a call we made to you, you will receive another call within the next 24 hours", then the usual instructions to press 1 if you believe you received their call by mistake. I didn't press 1. I simply hung up.

Actually, it is helpful to see "me too" posts. If I see that 20 other people have been called by this number, even if they don't have any concrete information about who it is, I know its NOT my long lost cousin from Spain, and is a spam number that I can safely block.
