I've had this DentalPlans plan for a few years, but have never been called in the past. Now it's become incessant. Every year I do the same thing, wait until it expires, then they offer a discount to "come back" so to speak, via e-mail. Not liking their new retention efforts by calling me endlessly. I will never give any information to any phone number that calls me, period!
This number has called a few times. They are from Dentalplans.com trying to sell a renewal of a dental discount plan. I've already told them I'm not interested, that the discount plan I bought last time was worthless because the dentists office didn't discount hardly anything. Totally not worth it for a .5% discount on dental work. I already told them I felt ripped off last time and I wont be renewing. But they keep calling.
The package I bought from them was great. I had to have a root canal and I ended up getting about 25% off. Even for regular cleanings, it saved quite a bit. I've renewed with them a couple of times. I'm on this site because the Mr Number phone app blocked this number and I didn't know who it was. I will unblock this number now. Nice little app but apparently goes too far sometimes! :)
Apparently your teeth were sooooo happy, you looked up the dentist's number on a phone complaints site, and wanted to burble over with praise.
On the other hand, maybe you are merely a shill for this phone number.

If you do not use the company mentioned in this thread, and are on the Do Not Call list, and get a cold call from them, strongly consider it a scam.
Not a scam, at least in my case. It's Dental Plans encouraging a renewal (mine expires in a month or two). I've used them for a couple of years and have been generally happy with the discounts. Not as good as insurance, of course, but for those like me whose company doesn't provide dental coverage, it helps and has paid for itself. It particularly saved me money on an implant two years ago. THAT SAID, I don't renew anything over the phone if asked for my credit card information, so I just tell them I'll renew online at my convenience. They seem fine with that. My only complaint is that they call every two weeks to remind me.
