A call (recording - Woman's voice) from the City of Ft. Lauderdale stating that I have an overdue payment of $75.00 - They
give an account number and ask you to call to settle overdue bill. When I called back they identified themselves as City
of Ft. Lauderdale,
It is not a scam, it was the City of Fort Lauderdale reminding that I have a past due bill since my auto-pay hasn't yet taken effect. It apparently takes up to three billing cycles for it to do so.
