This [***] Sean or Shawn calls almost daily, early mornings and at 9:00 at night. I'm fed up. I've tried hanging up on him; tried swearing at him; and tried not answering when his # shows up in my caller ID. My wireless carrier says they can't block the call. Why the F not?!?
These companies have auto-dialers...their programs generate number lists and the auto-dialer goes right down the lists dialing...when someone answer, whether it be your or your voice mail...whats for your acknoledgement..press 1 to speak to an operator, other number to add to do not call list..which only saves your number, as a good number, then persists to continue calling. The DO NOT CALL LIST...DOES NOT WORK..neither does contacting the FCC OR FTC...what you can do is: press one to speak to an operator,,play along with them, get all the information as if you are interested...everything, phone numbers, name of company, address if possible..."remember to act very interested"..however at this time, you are ready to walk out the door to a dr appt, so cannot commit, but will be calling them back. Now, what you do is, log every single time they call you...number, time, date...then you take them to civil court...file a complaint, they will be charged 1500. per incident. This and only this is how you beat them at your own game. GOOD LUCK!!
