They've been calling my cell phone several times a day for over a week now!! I don't answer and got fed up with constant calling so I googled their phone # and got this site. Seeing as how one of you said it's ADT, I think I might email their customer service to complain about their crap telemarketing.
I get calls from this number at least 3 times daily. I have never picked up and never received a voice mail. I also receive calls from other numbers based out of Oregon, Utah and Idaho. I'm assuming it's the same company.
I answered this call. It came in on my business cell and some guy on the other end told me he was with some security company and his company was new to the area and they wanted to install a system for free to advertise their service all they wanted to do was put a sign in my yard. I told the guy I'm not interested they continued telling me there would be no cost to me. I knew this was a scam I told the guy this was my business cell phone and I was at work and busy and not interested and to take me off his calling list and he began to mock me and told me no I can't do that and he wouldn't he was just being a [***] and he hung up on me. I called the number back and got the automated message that gave me instructions to be removed from there calling list.
This is the presales call (the hook) to get you to put a sign in your yard in exchange for "free" wireless security system. Say you're interested and you get a callback from 877-208-5133. This will be the sales pitch of a lifetime for a company called "Elevate". They are in San Clemente, CA. Web site is goelevate.com. Two different addresses come up in a search (one from their Facebook profile, the other from the generic Angie's List (unpaid)).
201 Avenida Fabricante Suite 100
San Clemente, CA 92672
Or
180 Avenida La Pata
San Clemente, CA 92673
The phone number on their webpage is (855) 835-3828. Note that is not the number either the presales or the sales guy used to call. And I am on the Do Not Call list. Didn't bother telling them that. I was busy trying to get as much info out of them as possible.
