Received a call from this same number today - here in Edmonton, Alberta. No message left. Time to get rid of home phone and use strictly cellular. I don't seem to get any telemarketing phone calls on my cell. Bastids.
These guys seem to be calling Edmonton Alberta fairly often. I've been called a few times over this past week or so, all from the same number. Same message each time, about a burglary in the area, or some BS, trying to sell me a security system.
Just for laughs I tried to speak to an agent, but nobody came on the line.
I get calls from this number on my cell phone. I think that someone sold my telephone number to this telemarketing scam, I have tried to speak to a representative to tell them that I would not like to be contacted anymore about some B.S. burglary in my area. But every time I try to press the button to talk to someone. It disconnects. I do not understand why they would call up without leaving a message or letting me speak to someone about it. I guess they really do not care about making a sale. Or else they know from my telephone number that I would ask to be removed, from this telemarketing scam. I usually add these calls to my do not call list, but because I received the call on my other cell phone and never added it to the list. I did not remember who it was from. But thanks to this I remember. And I blocked the caller. But do any of you suffer from the problem of blocking one number and then receiving a telephone call a week later from a similar number, but not exactly the same. I have been sending out my resume to a bunch of people lately, so I can;t just block all unfamiliar phone numbers.
