Continually receive calls from 971-220-1172 - when I answer with our company's standard greeting, the call terminates. When I answer with no greeting, after a brief pause, a pre-recorded message about healthcare comes on with a press 1 for more info; press 9 to be removed from our calling list. I pressed 9 about 2 weeks ago, but we still get multiple calls a day from this number! One day this week, I paused when I saw their number on caller id, and this time pressed 1 - it went into a series of "if you between ages of xx-xx" press X, if you do not have health insurance, press X; if you do not have medicare, press X - each time I pressed the first selection, and just when it said it would connect me to a representative, the line went dead. Frustrating!
getting calls from this number almost daily - recording says something about health ins- I press 9 to be taken off list - but still continues. I honestly think I will have my phone disconnected for awhile- these calls are nothing sort of harrassment . I took the dang NROC survey 5 times - and even they are still calling - it is just too much bother any more. I suggest get a cell turn it on when you want to use it and turn it off the rest of the time. maybe if we all disconnect the ph companies can do something about the telemarketers.
I called this number back to see who it was. I hung up immediately and a few minutes later another telemarketer called back selling siding. Very aggravating! I think they sold my number some how.
