i got one too... caller ID its Gresham, Oregon. i get strange calls from different states almost on a daily basis on my dang cellphone. it's super annoying.

I picked up on an old wall phone. Dead air.They called me just about 10 minutes ago. I just checked and saw the same number and PO America address. Strange, just strange . . .

At least they don't hide their caller ID (unlike Romney for President!)

Yes, political calls are exempt from the Federal Do Not Call statute.

Just went to their website (Political Opinions of America) and found a link to remove your number from the list: http://www.politicalopinionsofamerica.org/user_dnc.aspx

Hopefully it works.

I am not sure political canvasing is a type of caller that must respect the do not call list.  Politicians made those laws after all, you know!

If someone knows that it is, let me know as I will report them.  I do not want political calls and so will do what I need to do to block them.

If someone knows how to block an individual number on a cellphone (iphone/verizon svc.) pls. let me know.  Thanks in advance.
