This company keeps calling me for the last 6 months or so. It is a pre-recorded message warning you about missing an offer to lower your credit card interest. I pressed "0" and talked to someone and asked them to take me off their list. They did not.....
Continue to receive calls from this number, same as all below. They make you think you're in trouble. I hit 1 and when I asked what the company was they hung up. I called back and the only msg is to hit 1 to be removed from their call list.
Been getting calls from multiple numbers. Never answer but I look the numbers up here and it always seems to be Credit Card Services. Don't waste your time filing complaints. The numbers on your caller ID are fake. They can't be traced and tomorrow a different number will show up on caller ID. Do NOT answer any call from a number you don't recognize. If you answer and start talking Do Not Call list your number will be sold to other telemarketers. Just remember that the person on the other end of the call was probably making good money before 2008. Now their survival depends on you being stupid enough to pick up the phone and give them your credit card number.
This is one of several calls from these folks; today I actually listened to the recorded message, which
stated that this is my last chance to get lower interest rates on my credit card, provided the total of
all my cards was in excess of $3000.00; otherwise, it didn't apply! I was told to press "1" to speak
to "one of our friendly representatives", and I did press "1" but nothing happened.
So, I did call the number and a recording came on thanking me for calling back, stating that if I
wasn't interested and wished to have my number removed, press "!"......
Although annoying, the calls are coming much less frequently than they used to!!
Did you notice how similar the name is to the French author, Jules Verne? Verne is often referred to as the "Father of Science Fiction", so maybe they're playing games here!!
