I get calls from this number that say they were with an academic advisory company. I am unemployed and I dont have money to go to school and it upsets me that they prey on the unemployed!
I was gettting these calls tons of times a day. When they do not leave a voice mail, they are education institutes almost always. My advice is to answer and politely say you never asked them to call you and to take you off the list. If they persist, report them to the BBB or anyone you can. It will stop. from that number anyway. They are getting our phone numbers from pop ups from looking for a job. If you are not quick enough to realize on-line, they capture your info. A. From you accidentally typing in your info thinking you are going to see a job opportunity or B. Your IP address. Goodluck. I have been getting them again as well. Sometimes same number every 2 hours. I don't catch them all of the tome to answer.
Keep getting calls from this number. Never anwered the calls but after seeing the posts, decided to call back and try to get removed. I pressed 1 to remove my #, hope it works!
