They picked the wrong one to mess with because I report.
I can tell you that the FCC does contact them and does put them through all kinds of paperwork and an investigation. The fine is $10K.
Just write down every time they call- time and date. Once you get three, that's good enough to report. You don't even have to talk to them. The fact that they are calling you when you are on the registry is enough.
REPORT THEM! It's easy to do.
I had another one of these jerks tell me that there isn't any such thing as the do not call registry anymore. I guess he's in for a surprise.
Scammers. I hook up to fax machine. Have had numerous calls. Jan 18, Feb, 11, 12, and 13th. I never answer calls I do not recognize. I block them or hook up phone to fax machine.
Gresham, OR was on CID answered. "Providing automotive shops with financing for over 10 years press one to talk to someone. Press one now." I was waiting for the press # to be removed. Never happened. :(
I think this is more than just a scam. I mean look at all the complaints and it dates back to last year and nothings been done about it. How about considering the possibility that the people who are calling have been set up to harass you? What makes you think its not possible? Have you done something to get harassed like this by big brother? I blocked the number from calling so I had to check my spam log to find out that they called 3 days ago. People complain but does anything ever get solved?
