I pressed 1. A lousy connection was made (although the crunt on the other end did not sound foreign) and I pretended not to understand a word she said. She sounded like she was trying hard. If only she knew that the paycheck she gets at the end of the week will turn out to be rubber. Scum like these cmopanies never pay their employees.
So i says, i told these knuckleheads to take a hike. I'ze right in the middle porking the ol' ball and chain, and what'dya know, my goddamn phone starts ringing. I'ma go down there with a sixer of liquid courage and a whole bunch of [***] kickin' and straighten [***] out myself, I don't needa be bothered with while I'm laying the pipe in the ol' ladies wha-zoo...
Received this call at 1:53 pm today. Along with this telephone number, my Caller ID provided the additional bit of info in the form of the acronym "CNAM". Rather than hearing "Rachel", I heard another recorded message recited by another voice, though of similar content - reduce your credit card interest/payments. Given that I have a zero balance on my accounts, and haven't used plastic in months, there's not much to reduce. I went to my junk drawer, pulled out my whistle and gave a few loud blasts into the handset once again, after I pressed "1" to speak with a rep. I really don't have the patience to play their game by providing a bunch of phony answers or questions, like others have. I'm sure they hung up after hearing the first microsecond of the first blast, but it sure was fun to work out my aggression/frustration with this scum.
This number, according to AT&T, is a "disconnected phone # of Pacific Telecommunications Group." Ok, if so, why am I receiving dead air phone calls from it?
