I get about 2 or 3 calls/day from this number (and have for the past 3 weeks) and as soon as I answer they hang up. Occasionally someone will ask for me, I say "this is" and they immediately hang up. I call the number back and get "this number is not in service"...how can that be when they just called me from it!?!?!? I'm beyond irritated!!!
I have received about three of these calls. When I answer there is background noise but no one answers. I have let it go to voice mail, still no one answers. Whats going on?
They call and ask for the outside sales rep for the portland area. I asked: Does he have Hair or not? The person says I can't remember. I'll call back. He calls back in 5 minutes and I send him to our inside sales guy to play with him. 971-230-0738 hangs up. I've been a telemarketer before. In this economy the job has gotta suck and they're just passing time to get a paycheck.
Calling their corporate office 817-338-3700 seems to do the trick, at least a live person answered (after I selected the option to leave a message) and assured me our number would be removed immediately. We'll see.
