They called last night around 8:20 p.m. Central Time. I picked up but no one there. Likely an autodialer for a telemarketing firm. I hung up after the usual 5-10 seconds of silence. Added their number into my cell phone contact list under a telemarketer contact (I have probably 50 telemarketer "contacts" with 5-10 numbers each) and set call options to forward directly to voicemail if they call back.
I have been receiving calls. I am on the no call list as well. It is from a tele-marker selling some senior citizen protection (fire, break-in, medical). When I tried to call the number back to tell them to stop I either get "our mail box is full" or "we are not recieving calls at this time". The one time I answered the phone in time I told the girl to stop calling this number yet they have continued. My service provider (Verizon/Frontier) is of no help. So I placed a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General. Suggest everyone do the same. Oh, according to my phone the call originates out of Stafforf, Oregon
It appears as these people have changed their name again. They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions". They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice". They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert". According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.
I have been getting a call at least once a day, some times twice a day, from 971-252-2241 for the past two weeks. I have came home to messages on my answering machinine about "If you are a Senior blah blah blah..... I am sick and tire of the calls and them taking up space on my answering machine. My phone shows that these calls origionate in Stafford/Sandy Oregon. I tried looking up on White pages the name and it won't tell me with out me paying for it. That isn't going to happen any time soon!!!! but it says its a landline. I am also on the No call list and wonder what good it is!!!
