Recently started getting 1-2 calls a day from these numbers:
(971) 256-9589
(971) 256-9676 Left an almost silent voice mail…. just a low volume, med-high pitch whine
(971) 256-9393
I do not answer unidentified or unknown calls, ever, period.
I too Do Not answer "Any" calls that I don't recognize and/or that I am Not expecting (and that I'want' to respond to) ..
I have received a couple calls from the 971 area code, in the last few days ..
However - 'They' leave no message, so ..

At first, they were sporadic; just 1 or 2 a month. Then they stopped for a year.
Now, damn it, they restarted last month and are calling about once a day. Some leave empty voice mails.
Research has turned up conflicting info.... unkown number, invalid number, T-Mobil, landline, spoofer, telemarketer, phisher. So, I've no idea who/what/why.
Yeah I started getting these and other numbers calling. I have yet to have a voice mail. But be careful out there and don't fall for the "we are trying to collect a debt to an online payday loan. If you don't reply or call you will be arrested at your home or work place". I know someone in that field, they said you can not be arrested for not paying off payday loan. So ignore numbers I don't know and bs voice mail about payday loans which I don't have.
She said her name was Monica, when I called the number back. It's a business number that is unfamiliar to me. 971 is an area code for the Portland, OR area
