I suspect that they have Rogers cell phone list. Are you on Rogers?
I did not have this problem with Telus or Bell, but have had Debt Consolidation and other marketing type calls on my Rogers cellular.
There is a new Do Not Call list in Canada that may help. Don't know if it works for Cell phones, and may not work for calls originating outside Canada.
got the call and didn't know whose number so I didn't answer it. I called back from another line and found it was the same as everyone prior who called, "The number you dialed is unallocated" so i hung up..
I'm from Puerto Rico and i received this call from this number, but didn't answer then i called back and it was a man voice ,probably hispanic and the mesage said the number you have dialed is unallocated" something like that then it made a sound of busy signal...the only thing i know is that i don't give out my number not even on the internet...and how is this person calling me... thats strange, and is anyone doing anything about it,,this could be a hacker sending virus over the phone like there been cases like this around...well hope the police or who ever find this creep..looks like he don't have anything to do...if its for scam he aint getting me ...good luck you all
I received a call shortly ago from this number in my cell phone. It was a recordingt in Spanish telling something like this: "Esta es la última oportunidad para calificar para el estímulo económico, para calificar oprima 1". I hung up after this. Called back from another phone and all I got is this number unallocated message many others have reported. This message is weird because there is no warning chime before the message and it doesn't sound like a phone company recording.
yeah i was claled by that 971 number also. i didnt pick up just noticed id had a missed call. i obviously didnt return the call since everyone who has gotten it seems to say the same thing about ti being a spanish recording etc. how do they even get people's numbers? especially cell phones...wtf.
